If they think you would be a good fit, they will ask you to return in the near future for a group training session. The training session will be led by a manager and will focus a lot on safety. There are usually two to three training sessions required and they will each last a couple of hours. Once you're past this stage, they will ask you what area you feel you would be best working in. If you're looking to start at the bottom so you can work your way up, your best shot of doing so will be through loading and unloading. This is because you will be out in the open and managers and supervisors will be able to see how good of a worker you are. That said, pace yourself. Loading and unloading isn't as easy as it sounds. If you do make an impression and eventually advance to a managerial position, you will receive a 401K plan, FedEx stock, and health insurance.
